Best Rewards Program Honors Goes To Caesars

North Carolinians who make online sports bets with Caesars Sportsbook NC should be happy to know that the rewards program associated with the app was rated as the best in the industry in the latest USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

The awards are based on a ballot of nominees compiled by industry experts. Readers vote on the selections to determine the winner.

Casino industry history gives Caesars the edge

Unlike the market leaders in online sports betting in North Carolina, Caesars Entertainment has a decades-long history in the casino industry. Previously known as Eldorado Resorts before a name change in 2020, Caesars was around when players clubs became popular in the 1980s in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

The loyalty programs initially awarded players points based on their gambling activity, which they could then redeem for benefits like free meals, rooms, and even cash.

Nowadays, players clubs are technologically sophisticated loyalty programs that provide a wide range of perks to keep bettors engaged.

Players who wager via operators associated with land-based casino resorts accumulate rewards credits via online and in-person activity, including sports betting, online casinos, slot machines, table games, shopping online, hotel bookings, dining, and more.

FanDuel and DraftKings are the top online sports betting operators in North Carolina, but their loyalty programs and rewards are not as extensive as Caesars Rewards and are solely based on online activity.

Rewards can be redeemed at locations including Harrah’s

The USA Today’s 10Best review lauds the fact that with Caesars Rewards, customers can redeem credits “at more than 50 casinos and resorts around the globe, including Caesars Palace, Harrah’s, The Cromwell, The LINQ, Planet Hollywood, and Paris Las Vegas.”

The locations include the two Caesars casinos in North Carolina under the Harrah’s brand, Harrah’s Cherokee in Cherokee and Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River in Murphy. Tar Heel State residents also visit Caesars Danville just across the border in Virginia.

Caesars customers can transfer their rewards credits to the Wyndham Rewards program, meaning they’re redeemable at the brand’s hotels and several others, including Ramada, La Quinta, and Howard Johnson.

Within the Caesars Sportsbook app, reward credits can be redeemed for bonus cash, which can be used to place bets.
