Use discretion on same-game parlay betting
The “same-game parlay” is alliterative. It’s catchy. And, its big payoffs can be enticing. However, just because something is shiny, doesn’t mean it’s something you want to put in your pocket.
New sports bettors should be aware of the risks attached to same-game parlays. Yes, you can win, and yes, long odds on a multi-leg parlay can pay off with a large windfall. But, a same-game parlay (SGP) is a sportsbook’s friend. More parlays played means higher profits for sportsbooks.
